Yvonne Kilcullen decided to follow her passion for event management by setting up her own business, Yvonne Kilcullen Events, in 2010. This was more a career enhancement rather than a full career change as she had worked in interior design and soft furnishing for over 20 years during which time she was the designer on such projects as the The Breaffy House Hotel and the Gateway Hotel Swinford. Yvonne is a perfectionist so to ensure she was able to offer a full comprehensive professional service she went back to college to study Room styling, Event management, Coordination, Budgeting etc. Since 2010 Yvonne Kilcullen Events has provided a professional styling service for events of all sizes and to a wide range of customers. Yvonne has worked with charity organisations such as Western Care, Hospice, Mayo Rape Crisis Centre, The Soroptimists and more to ensure their fundraising events had that special touch and added to their success. Yvonne ensures that every detail is attended to and works with a large team of professional contractors to provide all the styling aspects of an event . For large events such as the 30th anniversary of Knock Airport Yvonne will be providing pipe & drape, lighting, catering hire, balloon decorations, floral arrangements and staff including waitresses.
Yvonne has a real passion for what she does and combines that passion with style and knowledge to ensure the organisers of the event can relax knowing the styling and coordination are in safe hands. No venue is too small or too large and she uses her interior design background to advise clients what the room needs to be spectacular and works with their budget to provide the agreed styling elements.
Yvonne Kilcullen Events is currently extending their services offering couples living abroad who are planning their wedding in Ireland a full wedding planning service. Yvonne will use her extensive knowledge and expertise to manage all aspects of the wedding including sourcing venues, dresses, suit hire, florists, caterers etc ensuring the couple can enjoy their day.
